Sophia Saco is a poet from Hialeah, FL. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida. Winner of the 2025 AWP Intro Journals Project, Sophia’s work has been published in South Florida Poetry Journal, The Writer’s Chronicle, Tampa Review, Swim Press, The Acentos Review, and elsewhere. She is an Assistant Poetry Editor at The Florida Review. She works at a literary nonprofit in Orlando and teaches at Valencia College.
